In most cases, Viva Las Vegas is the place where adults like to go to have a great time. I mean it is the place where what happens there, stays there, so of course the grown ups want to go there to party and let loose. But, if you have kids, don't let that keep you from planning a fun family friendly trip. Here are a few things we did while in the area.
Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden: Tour of Italy- if you have a green thumb or just like to spend time admiring beautiful floral arrangements, this is the perfect stop for you. The Bellagio transforms this 14,000 square foot space with over 57,000 breathtaking flowers. Adults and children alike are amazed by the gorgeous display.
After you leave, don't forget to check out one of their world famous Bellagio Fountain water shows. The girls were mesmerized!
The Venetian Gondola Ride– was once a romantic date night activity for me and the hubby when we visited the area. Now, it's a relaxing fun family activity that the girls are fascinated by. Alana loved the boat ride in the water, listening to the tunes of the gondolier, and going beneath the bridges and balconies.
Discovery Children's Museum– gave the girls the opportunity to play and explore in a kid friendly environment. From science and math lessons, imaginative play, creative activities, character dress up, a live theater production, and the water table, the girls had a blast. Ariah had fun crawling with daddy and Alana thoroughly enjoyed being an airplane pilot for the afternoon.
A vacation isn't complete without family pool time, me-time at the spa for mom and casino visits for dad. My hubby and I were happy to take shifts with the girls which allowed us to have individual alone time to unwind and unplug while on family vacation.
The absolute best time while on vacation was family dinner time. The food at Grand Lux Cafe, Prime Burger and Blueberry Hill was incredibly delicious!
As you can see, my family had a blast in Vegas and yours can too. There are a lot of fun activities for everyone to do. To see more of what we did at each location, check LWBL out on Tumblr for full albums!
Happy traveling! Xoxo
