Workcay Part 3: 3 of the 5 Family Friendly Stops in Salt Lake City, Utah

My family accompanied me on a work trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. While there, we made a few fun stops along the way. Click here to view the first two stops on our itinerary. To complete our trip, we enjoyed the following 3 activities.

Stop 3: City Creek

This shopping center has 10 restaurants, 13 quick eats, over 200 stores and other attractions, this is a great place to eat, shop and enjoy family and friends. We definitely enjoyed eating our family meals at Blue Lemon and the girls loved the playing with the fountains. Of course I had to shop just a little.

Stop 4: Discovery Gateway

I always include a little learning fun for the girls when we travel and I love checking out the local children’s museum. An extra incentive, if you purchase a membership to your local location, you may qualify for discounts at other locations around the country. We saved 50% off our admission for the entire family. Great perk to go along with a great time!

Stop 5: Antelope Island State Park

Breathtakingly beautiful is the only way to describe this destination that’s called home for many desert animals. Though it’s about a 45 minute drive from Salt Lake City, it’s definitely worth the ride. This park is friendly to various activities such as horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, camping, boating or enjoying the Salt Lake or private beach. Other planned activities such as the Bison Roundup, Photography Workshops, Marathons, Guided Tours and Star Parties are also available to participate in during your trip. To enjoy a full day without interruption, a restaurant is on the property for your convenience. This is definitely a must see attraction but please be prepared for the mosquitos.

Love the natural lighting at the lake for selfies too! 🙂

The views were amazing, the kids had fun, we learned a lot and the food was delicious…my hubby is already missing the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Salt Lake City, Utah!

Happy Exploring! Xoxo
