November is a fun and festive month with Thanksgiving and the official start of the Christmas holidays. To add to the excitement of the season, both my husband and my baby girl have birthdays the same week, just two days apart. Talk about hectic! Celebrating them is quite enjoyable but making sure their milestones are honored individually can be quite a difficult task. This year was the first attempt to establish Birthday traditions for both. Since my family loves to come together over delicious food, that’s where we started. This year, my husband’s birthday fell on a Sunday, Ariah’s on a Tuesday, Thanksgiving on Thursday, concluding with Ariah’s Birthday Party on Saturday and her Christian Dedication on Sunday. Whew, what a week it will be!
Today, these two enjoyed their first ever Daddy Daughter lunch date over a delicious meal. Ariah was tickled pink to have her Dad’s attention as they laughed and talked. I know that in the coming years, this will be there dedicated time together. I thoroughly enjoyed them allowing me to tag along today for their new birthday tradition.
