Vegas Vacay- New Stops this Summer

It’s that time again! Every year we spend time on the West Coast. This time, we spent one week in Las Vegas. Most people are surprised when we take the kids with us. As I mentioned in the Viva Las Vegas post last summer, there are so many family-friendly activities to engage in while there. Check out that recap for what we did during that trip. We had even more fun this year engaging in new activities. Check out our new stops during this visit:

Love Art Sculpture at the Venetian- love was on our mind as we explored during our family vacation. We stopped by the Love Art Sculpture to help us celebrate.

Wahlburgers– Anyone who knows me knows that I have two favorite actors: Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg. It’s only right to have family dinner at his family’s restaurant during our trip. It was absolutely delicious! Don’t mind me in the last picture…I’m just pretending he’s standing behind me is all.

Sea Quest- the educator in me loves to learn and facilitate educational experiences for the kiddos. I always make sure to include a component in our family trips. This time, we visited Sea Quest. This intimate attraction is conveniently nestled in the mall. It provides the opportunity to interact with the exhibits, touch and hand feed the animals. This made for a great visit for the girls. The hubby was amazed by it too.

Fun food- sharing a delicious meal is the cornerstone of our family bonding time. This year, we wanted to also make mealtime a fun experience for the girls. We had the biggest pizza slice, the largest pancake, and some delicious sweet treats. We also visited our favorite breakfast restaurant which is a staple every time we go.

Pool time fun- the girls love water I play so spending some family time in the pool is always a fun…and free…activity. As you can see, they had a blast with Dad. Mom was sitting on the side resting and relaxing the majority of the time.

Las Vegas Aces– we couldn’t visit Vegas and not support our favorite Lady Gamecock now WNBA #1 Draft pick A’ja Wilson at the season opening game. It was awesome to see the high energy of the crowd, level of excitement and support of the fans, and athletic abilities of the ladies. The girls had such a fun time cheering and playing in the Family Zone. By the looks at the big screen, we had a blast! We were even caught on the kiss cam…I was too busy kissing to catch a pic of that one though.

Have fun during your family trip to Vegas.

Xoxo
