Family Play Day- Ballantyne Resort and Spa (Part 2)

The first half of the day on the property was spent in the spa with my best friend for our girls day out activity. Since my family travel schedule has us flying out of Charlotte the very next morning, my family joined me for the remaining of the visit at the Ballantyne Resort and Spa. My hubby and I enjoyed a fun and relaxing afternoon with the kiddos.

Dining in the Gallery Restaurant on the property was delicious and filling. They had all of our vacation favorites on the menu for us to enjoy: beef sliders, chicken sliders, sweet potato fries, French fries, and Alana’s favorite meal…mac-and-cheese.

My big and little swimmers had some water fun in the indoor pool. Hubby took a few laps, Alana tested her skills that she was taught during summer swim camp, and Ariah learned that kicking her feet makes a big splash! Mommy got soaked in the midst of it all…which was totally not the plan.

Our family time was brief so we only had the opportunity to dine, water play, and admire the beauty of the venue.

There are a lot of other activities that you can plan to do with your family, friends, and/or alone for your personal me-time. Here are a few suggestions:

Group Activities include:

  • Experiential Dining
  • Glow in the Dark Games
  • Afternoon Tea
  • Escape Challenge
  • Karaoke
  • Educational Culinary Demos
  • Golf
  • Spa
  • Tennis

Whatever you decide to do, most of all, have fun and relax! Xoxo
