Magical Milestone Memories- 35th Birthday Celebration: Part 2 (Quality Time with

I believe that birthdays are the perfect opportunities to celebrate the meaning of life and spend time with family and friends. Read Part 1 if this post which highlights the fun activities I did with family and friends. The second aspect of making this milestone birthday a memorable one was spending quality time bonding with my hubby. We had an absolute blast celebrating my life and our love.

Live Musical Production- we took an evening getaway to Greenville and attended The Color Purple Musical at the Peace Center. The show and cast were absolutely amazing and the venue was beautiful. My hubby not only surprised me by taking me to the show, but arranged to go back stage to meet the cast. Incredible experience indeed.

Private Ballroom Dancing Lessons- we love to dance and have a great time while attending events. We sometimes even have our own dance party in the house just the two of us or with the kids. I’ve always wanted to do a formal lesson and Blue Moon Ballroom was the perfect location. The owner and operator was knowledgeable, personable, and very good. He made us feel comfortable, taught us several dance variations and had us feeling like pros. Can’t wait to try out our new dance moves.

Escape Room- this experience was intense yet invigorating! With literally one minute left, we managed to escape Th3 C0D3 at Escapology. Working together to solve the clues was a really good experience. We opted to do the room with just the two of us and I’m so glad that we did. It made the achievement of solving the code and gaining our freedom even nitro special.

Late night dessert date night- We love to fellowship over a meal, but in particular, I love sweets…preferably apple desserts. Nonnah’s has the best apple praline in the area.

I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating with my hubby this month. Stay tuned to read how I celebrated with me, myself and I.

Xoxo
