Mother’s Day Tribute

My hubby wasn’t able to be with me for Mother’s Day but he found ways to ensure it was special in his absence. He left tokens of love with my goddaughter so she could personally deliver it on today, bought me items he knew I needed, and wrote a tribute poem. It’s the little things that mean so much! Though I missed him like crazy, I still felt him with me the entire day! I’m so thankful for his love!

—-She’s All That—

By L. Kobie Wilkerson III

She’s short in stature but her character is tall, juggles all the balls of life and very rarely lets one fall.

She’s kind and caring with a heart of a giant, loves her family fiercely so attacking them I wouldn’t try it.

She is about her business each and every day and hurdles all the obstacles that comes her way.

She takes care of the kids and her husband too, and doesn’t complain about ALL the things she has to do.

She wakes up early and goes to bed late and sacrifices whatever’s needed because she know that’s what it takes.

She sets a great example and loves others hard, is willing to lend a hand and quick to let down her guard.

She’s an amazing friend and shows up whenever she can, and when you’re in need by your side she will confidently stand.

She strives to leave the world a better place than it was when she arrived, and seeks to fulfill that mission every day until she dies.

Legacy is constantly on her mind, and that is the reason she makes such good use of her time.

She has a lot of roles and all them she fulfills, but there is one role in particular where she shows unique skill.

Of all the things she does she’s definitely Da bomb, but hands down for sure she’s a PHENOMENAL mom!

I’m so happy she’s the mother of our kids, she provides a solid foundation for all of us to live.

She handles the storms of life with such confidence and grace, and never lets you see the pain or stress on her face.

So from Alana, and Ariah we’d like to say, we appreciate you ALL the time but especially on this Mother’s Day!
